Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Veterinarian to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Relief Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless care.
Responsibilities- Animal Examinations: Perform thorough examinations of animals to detect and diagnose medical conditions.
- Treatment and Care: Provide treatment and care to animals, including administering medications, performing surgeries, and monitoring patients during recovery.
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on their pets' care and treatment plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid state veterinary license.
- Professional Liability Insurance Trust (PLIT) coverage.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.
We are seeking a Relief Veterinarian to work on Thursdays, with shifts of 8 hours or more as needed. We offer competitive compensation at $1,400 per shift.
