Veterinary Technician, Critical Care, Ethos Veterinary Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health in San Francisco. As a critical care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinary team.
About the Role- Assist in the care and management of critically ill patients, including triaging, monitoring, and administering medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Provide exceptional client communication and education, ensuring that pet owners are informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their pet's care.
- Participate in rounds, discussing cases and gathering information to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Senior Veterinary Assistant (SVA) certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting, with a focus on critical care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain composed and motivated in high-stress situations, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
