Ädelbrook Inc. provides a specialized residential treatment program for young individuals up to the age of 21 who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission is to facilitate a smooth transition for residents to a lower level of care through comprehensive support services.

Position Summary:

The Overnight Behavioral Support Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety and therapeutic care of residents during the night shift. This role includes maintaining a structured environment and assisting in the transition of youth to the Learning Center each morning. Responsibilities may involve crisis intervention, behavior modification, and physical safety techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and document residents' behaviors to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Instruct alternative behaviors and support youth in developing personal strengths.
  • Utilize PMT strategies to maintain a secure environment and impart essential life skills.
  • Timely submission of documentation through the Electronic Health Record system.
  • Gather and maintain accurate behavior tracking data.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team and actively participate in care planning.
  • Organize and facilitate recreational activities and transport residents for off-site events.
  • Assist in meal preparation and engage in mandatory training sessions.
  • Adhere to the agency's Code of Ethics and fulfill all assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate's degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field is required. Experience working with behaviorally challenged youth is essential. Certification in PMT and Trauma-Informed Care is mandatory. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required.
