Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL to join our team at MARC Community Resources Ltd. As a DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral strategies and interventions to individuals with complex behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans to promote social and emotional growth for individuals we support.
  • Provide comprehensive behavioral strategies and interventions to individuals with complex behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide the best possible care for all individuals.
  • Support the MARC mission, vision, and guiding principles.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance.
  • PSL endorsement (or ability to obtain one).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid, PMT and Med Certification are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician Certification or eligible to obtain this certification within one year of starting position.
  • At least 3-5 years on the job experience. Experience working with individuals with ID/DD exhibiting challenging behavioral needs required.
