Family Services Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train a team of social workers and support staff to ensure high-quality services are delivered to families in need.
- Evaluate and improve social service programs and budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
- Apply human resource practices to supervise employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with community partners, law enforcement, and emergency response personnel.
- Recommend policy changes to improve program effectiveness and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervise social workers and support staff, including selecting, training, and evaluating their work.
- Conduct client assessments, develop plans of action, and document progress.
- Interact with other agencies and organizations to provide services for clients.
- Oversee expenditures, provide fiscal data for budgets, and ensure timely payment of accounts payable.
- Gather and maintain information for reports and documentation.
- Participate in policy development and implementation, and interpret policies for staff.
- Maintain records and process paperwork, including reports, documents, and personnel information.
- Serve as an information resource for clients, students, and professionals.
- Monitor program compliance and referrals.
- Attend staff meetings and professional seminars to improve skills.
