Position Overview: The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of a modernized BMF platform. This position also entails providing ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support that aligns with organizational priorities. Key responsibilities include project management, O&M, software development, modernization efforts, enhancements, and legislative updates.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a Developer / Architect with a focus on code refactoring.
  • A diverse programming background is essential.
  • Expertise in full-stack development.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize ADDI and MAM accelerator toolsets.

Extensive programming knowledge is required, including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and industry best practices. The candidate should be capable of translating assembly logic into modern programming constructs, such as mapping assembly instructions to equivalent Java code using loops, conditional statements, functions, and object-oriented design patterns. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are vital for identifying and resolving potential challenges during the modernization process. Familiarity with additional z/OS tools is preferred.

Work Arrangement: This position offers a remote work option.
