Legal Practice Coordinator

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Practice Coordinator to join our Litigation Practice Group in Miami. This role will provide administrative and substantive legal support to the team, focusing on client service, communication, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate communication and planning across attorney teams handling multiple client matters.
  • Manage hearings, service of process, filings, and calendaring for a high-volume practice in multiple courts.
  • Perform research on judicial rules and procedures in various courts.
  • Establish, organize, and maintain case filings, emails, and correspondence.
  • Review vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Manage case and client information manually and digitally through electronic databases.
  • Coordinate the gathering of information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence for discovery.
  • Support the development and management of case and practice group timelines.
  • Assist attorneys with pleadings, discovery, and document production materials.
  • Provide legal support, including drafting, proofreading, and editing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of professional or legal experience, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
  • Demonstrated litigation experience required.
  • Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Exceptional organization skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
