We are currently seeking a dedicated Admissions Assistant to join our team at Plano Community Homes. This is a full-time role, offering 40 hours per week with comprehensive benefits. The working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. The hourly wage ranges from $14.00 to $16.00, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective residents and their families, both in person and over the phone.
- Assist in managing sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct property tours and facilitate training sessions at various locations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HUD regulations.
- Support the admissions process by organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Preferred: A minimum of two years of college education or relevant experience in property leasing.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with the elderly and understanding the aging process is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player who is open to feedback and continuous improvement.
