Product Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our Global Products Group at Lam Research. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving product development and innovation in the semiconductor equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative semiconductor equipment and process solutions.
- Lead product development projects from prototyping to deployment and initial field support.
- Conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
- Present analysis and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for installation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of complex product issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
- Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial. Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment is also a plus.
