We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Lam Research. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving product development and innovation in the semiconductor equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to resolve customer issues and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the specification and development of products.
- Provide technical support for installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
- Work in a cleanroom lab and/or customer semiconductor fab environment.
- Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and experimental design skills.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
- Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
- Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
- Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
