About the Job:

Vitalink Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging devices
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate and detailed representations of patient anatomy
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
