HAIR AND NAIL CARE SPECIALIST

We are seeking a dedicated Hair and Nail Care Specialist who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role is vital in enhancing our guests' stay by providing expert knowledge and exceptional service in our salon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver high-quality salon services in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Perform a variety of hair and nail treatments, including cuts, styles, chemical services, and manicures/pedicures, utilizing the latest techniques.
  • Ensure timely commencement and completion of all scheduled services.
  • Provide thorough shampooing and conditioning, recommending suitable products for each treatment.
  • Educate guests on salon services and retail offerings, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Introduce guests to new products and suggest service upgrades.
  • Consult with clients on appropriate hair and nail care, offering personalized product recommendations for home use.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the salon and spa services, including appointment procedures and available amenities.
  • Adhere to opening and closing procedures for the salon, ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
  • Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of salon facilities, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
  • Manage inventory control of linens and supplies, ensuring high-quality presentation.
  • Timely disposal of soiled laundry and regular reporting of inventory needs.
  • Provide feedback on guest experiences to improve our service offerings.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Hawaii.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
