Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at LifeWorks NW. As an On Call Mental Health Therapist, you will provide assessment and diagnosis services to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of mental health symptoms and behavioral concerns in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on current evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients.
  • Collaborate with families, care providers, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and cultural competence.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid and active QMHP credential certification through MHACBO or a valid and active status with an approved Oregon licensing board.
  • At least one year of experience in clinical interventions and mental health assessment specific to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy services to diverse client populations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a culturally diverse environment.
