Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Category Manager and business partners to execute the category strategy.
  • Manage all stages of sourcing events (RFXs), including supplier RFX development, leading supplier meetings, and analyzing and recommending supplier proposals.
  • Negotiate, structure, and manage contractual documents that establish and maintain business relationships with suppliers within the Software & Applications/SaaS categories.
  • Negotiate and implement new contracts that are not the result of a sourcing event, as well as develop statements of work and amend existing agreements.
  • Ensure that vendor risk, diversity, and management requirements are integrated and adhered to throughout the sourcing process.
  • Identify and drive cost efficiencies to achieve all savings targets.

Requirements:

  • 5 - 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Purchasing, Commercial Contract Negotiation, and Supplier Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software, Cloud, or SaaS procurement.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sourcing events, from inception to contract completion.
  • Comprehensive experience managing the full contract lifecycle, including Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments, and renewals, for all category suppliers.
  • Broad experience in supply chain, procurement, contracts, and project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in purchasing systems, category management, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
