Emergency Psychiatric Services Clinician

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality mental health care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health needs and co-occurring chemical dependency disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality mental health care through direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the emergency room.
- Document patient care accurately and concisely in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
- Two years of clinical experience in mental health or a related field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
- Five years of clinical experience in mental health or a related field.
- Two years of emergency department experience or equivalent crisis mental health experience.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities.
