Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality mental health care to Kaiser Permanente members in a cost-effective manner, adhering to accepted professional practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health needs and co-occurring chemical dependency disorders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Document patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record, adhering to accepted medical and legal standards.
  • Provide case management through triaging, referrals, and communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Manage crisis interventions for at-risk patients to ensure patient and community safety.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
  • Two years of clinical experience, with a focus on mental health and crisis intervention.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Oregon) or equivalent licensure required.
  • National Provider Identifier required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of clinical experience, with a focus on emergency department and crisis mental health.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Working knowledge of relevant outcome measures and cognitive behavioral therapies.
