Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and wound care.
• Assist with patient transfers, lifts, and repositioning, utilizing proper equipment and techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, promoting patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in patient care.
Requirements:
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
