Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Perform vital signs, weights, and other patient care activities
Assist with basic nursing care, including bathing, grooming, and oral care
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program
Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
