Job Summary:

As a Surgical Patient Care Specialist at Northshore, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical unit. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, including vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, and other essential tasks. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will ensure a safe and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care tasks, including vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, and sterile specimen collection
Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to implement patient-specific care plans
Participate in activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experiences

Requirements:

Eligible to work in the US
Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred
Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred
