Final Test Technicians for Semiconductor Equipment

Ultimate Staffing is seeking skilled individuals with a background in Electro-Mechanical Final Testing. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. These positions are for day shifts with flexible start times between 6am and 8am, offering opportunities for overtime, temp-to-perm arrangements, and a work schedule from Monday to Friday. Compensation ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience. Please note that applicants lacking experience in this area will not be considered.
Position Overview
The Final Test Technician plays a crucial role in the setup, testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of intricate gas scrubber systems utilized in the semiconductor and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues in circuits, components, instruments, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical assemblies.
- Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Analyze ladder logic schematics and diagrams to identify problems and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct system leak checks on equipment using established best practices.
- Utilize photohelic measuring instruments and basic air regulation devices effectively.
- Execute corrective actions involving reworking assemblies and/or systems as necessary.
- Prepare systems for shipment following industry best practices.
- Assist in the selection and setup of specialized testing equipment when required.
Additional Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Foster a safe working environment in accordance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document procedures and processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency and establish standard practices.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Occasional travel to customer sites may be required to assess, report, and implement corrective actions on installed systems.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in testing semiconductor equipment is preferred.
- Proficient understanding of problem-solving methodologies.
- Effective communication skills with peers and management.
- Ability to create clear written reports, recommendations, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
