We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at Headway Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation, selection, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of semiconductor tools in the plating area.
Key Responsibilities- Research and evaluate tools to improve yield and lower operational costs
- Analyze tool data, compile reports, and recommend corrective action
- Manage projects of various scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate and prioritize tool maintenance to ensure maximum tool uptime
- Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software to create diagrams and schematics
- Respond to equipment-related inquiries from other departments or groups
- Ensure quality, productivity, yield, and cost objectives are consistently met
- Collaborate with engineering and other cross-functional groups to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability
- Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdowns and maintain spare parts inventory
- Develop and implement an emergency tool recovery plan to ensure tools remain functional during downtime
- Comply with all ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent relevant experience
- Three years of experience working as an Equipment Engineer or Sr. Equipment Maintenance Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry
- One year of hands-on experience working with semiconductor tools and equipment
- Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
The Equipment Specialist works primarily in an indoor environment from Monday to Friday. The schedule may be altered to meet business or operational needs. Works in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility, wearing a cleanroom suit and safety equipment. May be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, and/or gases during the workday. Performs various fine grasping movements and operates office equipment.
