Nurse Development Program at Northwest Medical Center

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our Nurse Development Program at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. This full-time program offers a unique opportunity for new graduates to gain valuable experience and skills in a supportive environment.

The RN New Grad Program is an 8-12 week program guideline that includes being supported as a new grad for your first 12 months. You will work closely with a team of experienced nurses and educators who will provide guidance and mentorship throughout your training.
As a participant in our Nurse Development Program, you will have access to:
- A robust curriculum that adapts throughout your first year of practice
- Development of professional relationships through cohort experience and collaboration with peers
- Experience growth in your clinical reasoning skills through preceptorship, simulation, case studies, role-playing, group discussions, self-reflection, and active learning activities
To be eligible for our Nurse Development Program, you must:
- Have a current Arizona RN license or compact state license
- Hold an Associate's or Diploma degree in nursing or a Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Have completed ACLS certification within 180 days of employment
