Job Title: Obstetric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced obstetric nurse specialist to join our team at Northwest Medical Center - Tucson.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our labor and delivery unit, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes for mothers and babies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor fetal well-being and respond promptly to any complications or concerns
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care
  • Participate in emergency situations, including births, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies
Requirements
  • RN licensure in the state of Arizona
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is approximately $95,180.68, based on the estimated weekly pay of $1,820.15 and assuming a 52-week year.
