Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care SWAT Nurse to join our team at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. As a key member of our critical care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Respond to emergency events and evaluate assigned patients, providing life-saving medications and interventions
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care, assisting physicians during high-acuity procedures
  • Participate in codes, RRT, STEMI/BAT (stroke response team), and serve as an expert resource to other nurses
  • Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse

Requirements:

  • Associates or Diploma in nursing program required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a RN in critical care setting required
  • Current Arizona RN license or compact state license required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS certifications required
