Job Summary

University Health System- San Antonio seeks a highly skilled Credentialing Senior Manager to oversee the credentialing and recredentialing program of practitioners and providers. This role involves implementing and monitoring regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards, as well as collaborating with health plans and licensing organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement credentialing policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with health plans and licensing organizations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate research and reports on credentialing issues and monitor regulatory agency requirements.
  • Supervise and manage a team of credentialing staff to ensure efficient and effective credentialing operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience in credentialing, with a focus on managed care and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • NAMSS Certification as a Certified Provider Credentials Specialist (CPCS) is preferred.
