Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Credentialing Specialist to enhance our Corporate operations. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement, necessitating some on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete credentialing and privileging process for Department of Defense (DoD) candidates and clients.
  • Ensure adherence to critical timelines throughout the credentialing process.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews with privileged providers to discuss the credentialing process.
  • Facilitate the presentation of candidates for approval of personal service contracts.
  • Coordinate interviews between DoD locations and prospective candidates.
  • Manage credentialing and privileging documentation: gather and verify credentials, educational background, licenses, and certifications.
  • Perform employment verifications and reference checks thoroughly.
  • Handle security documentation: collect necessary security papers, identification, and coordinate fingerprint appointments.
  • Review Occupational Health documentation, compiling a clear list of outstanding items.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including the first day and in-processing activities for new hires.
  • Complete the DoD employment verification form accurately.
  • Maintain client relations throughout the credentialing and privileging duration.
  • Support and engage candidates throughout the credentialing process.
  • Maintain the Joint Commission worksheet for the Corporate office.
  • Track credentialing timelines and delays to assist with organizational metrics.
