Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Credentialing Specialist to enhance our Corporate operations. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement, necessitating some on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete credentialing and privileging process for Department of Defense (DoD) candidates and clients.
- Ensure adherence to critical timelines throughout the credentialing process.
- Conduct follow-up interviews with privileged providers to discuss the credentialing process.
- Facilitate the presentation of candidates for approval of personal service contracts.
- Coordinate interviews between DoD locations and prospective candidates.
- Manage credentialing and privileging documentation: gather and verify credentials, educational background, licenses, and certifications.
- Perform employment verifications and reference checks thoroughly.
- Handle security documentation: collect necessary security papers, identification, and coordinate fingerprint appointments.
- Review Occupational Health documentation, compiling a clear list of outstanding items.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including the first day and in-processing activities for new hires.
- Complete the DoD employment verification form accurately.
- Maintain client relations throughout the credentialing and privileging duration.
- Support and engage candidates throughout the credentialing process.
- Maintain the Joint Commission worksheet for the Corporate office.
- Track credentialing timelines and delays to assist with organizational metrics.
