Culinary Operations Manager

Culinary Manager (Culinary)
The primary responsibility of our leadership is to safeguard and protect the brand and reputation we have established in our community. Every day, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional food, outstanding service, and a unique customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and create daily meals
Lead your team by working alongside them
Manage the day-to-day operations of The Eatery
Hiring and training of staff
Open and close the unit of operation
Adhere to all local and state guidelines and laws
Weekly Sysco/Product Ordering; managing food cost
Weekly Kitchen Inventory
Managing BOH Staff/Scheduling; communication with their team on upcoming menus and need-to-know information to ensure a smooth flow of business in the kitchen
Prepare weekly chef specials menu – one month at a time
Weekly deep cleaning in kitchen – coolers, freezer, dry storage, etc.
Maintaining all logs for the kitchen – waste, temps, etc.
Overseeing preparation of all food being served within The Eatery
Assisting Line cooks with food preparation
Research and stay informed with food and event trends
Develop and maintain good relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups, existing clients, and companies
Participate in new business pitches and key stakeholder meetings to strategize creative concepts that can extend or enhance current and future programs
Attend catered events when needed to offer support to the team and clients
Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done effectively and on time
Qualifications:
Previous Culinary Management experience required (3 Years Minimal)
Bachelor's degree in culinary or a related field. (Degree may be substituted for 5 Years of Experience)
Ability to stand or move for long periods
General knowledge of all safety & sanitation standards (Food Safety Manager Certification Required)
Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency
Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
