Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and maintain accounts payable records, including invoices, vouchers, and payment records.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with monthly closings and ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 hours of college-level accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

The Accounts Payable Specialist will work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent deadlines and high levels of accuracy required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
