Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Bellperson is to warmly welcome guests arriving at our hotel and ensure their needs are met throughout their stay. This role involves providing informative and efficient services while supporting the front desk team with guest inquiries and concerns.
- Deliver a warm and professional greeting to all guests upon arrival.
- Maintain effective communication with guests, staff, and tour guides regarding property events and services.
- Assist guests with luggage by escorting them to their rooms and transporting their belongings as needed.
- Coordinate with various departments such as Front Desk, Valet, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest service.
- Uphold cleanliness in the bell stand, luggage areas, and lobby to create a welcoming environment.
- Enforce parking policies to ensure compliance among hotel guests.
- Adhere to tipping policies to manage gratuities appropriately.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Ability to navigate a bell cart safely with luggage.
- Clear communication skills, particularly when using radios or phones.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. in various settings.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods, approximately 95% of the shift.
