Overview

We are seeking a qualified Teacher Substitution Specialist to provide instructional services as an employee of StaffEZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, instructing assigned classes, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of the required Global Compliance Network training modules, and demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also meet criminal history background requirements and possess the ability to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
  • Instruct assigned classes in locations and at times specified
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records of the day
  • Plan, supervise, and provide guidance for student(s), teacher aid(s), and volunteer(s)
  • Assist students with help they may need with their work
  • Tidy up the classroom after the day has commenced
  • Document any discrepancies that may have occurred throughout the day
  • Follow lesson plans, make notations
  • Be prepared to assist in other classrooms during prep hour or breaks

Qualifications

  • Completion of High School Diploma/GED, credit consolidated at one four-year regionally accredited college and university, and/or hold a valid teaching certificate
  • Completion of the required Global Compliance Network training modules
  • Demonstrated record of good attendance and punctuality
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional climbing of steps
  • Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels

Estimated Salary Range

$54.00 - $80.00 per day, depending on educational qualifications and experience.
