Role OverviewThis dynamic role allows you to develop your teaching skills while observing best practices from experienced educators. As an Apprentice Teacher, you will have opportunities to co-teach with teacher-leaders, provide substitute teaching coverage, and support students through tutoring and individualized instruction.
Responsibilities- Observe Master Teachers to refine instructional techniques and classroom management
- Co-teach with teacher-leaders to develop pedagogical expertise
- Provide substitute teaching coverage to ensure continuity in student learning
- Support students through one-on-one and small group tutoring, as well as academic intervention
- Develop teaching skills to potentially become a full-time teacher at the school
