Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program managers and direct support professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and vision.

Program Supervision and Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor program quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Compliance and Licensing

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Prepare for and participate in annual licensing and relicensing meetings.

Relationship Building and Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and promote the organization's services.

Human Resources and Training

  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of program managers and direct support professionals.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.

Meetings and Communication

  • Facilitate regular meetings with program managers and direct support professionals.
  • Attend leadership team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in leading/managing staff in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Experience in strategic planning, program development, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computers and software applications.

Physical and Environmental Factors

  • Ability to work in an office environment and visit program sites.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
