Description:

The Residential Program Supervisor is a key member of our team at Rudolph Community and Care, responsible for overseeing one of our residential houses. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our program team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Directly supervise direct support professionals and other house staff as assigned.
    • Ensure direct care professionals are continually developed and executing person-centered plans.
    • Conduct training for new staff and complete training documentation.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Schedule DSP staff, approve timecards, and ensure the site is in ratio.
    • Work Monday - Friday at the site, on-call for staffing and emergencies, and assist staff in finding coverage for call-ins.
    • Contact the program director in the event of emergencies.
  • Documentation and Budget Management:
    • Maintain and audit person-centered plans, T-logs, and medication administration records.
    • Oversee home budgets, maintain receipts, and ensure the site stays within budget.
    • Complete medication counts and audits, order client medications as needed, and report medical concerns to the director and health and wellness coordinator.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Site Maintenance:
    • Prepare for and participate in site licensing and re-licensing.
    • Ensure the site is clean and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience working with individuals who have developmental or mental health disabilities.
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership position.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals who have high behaviors.
  • Experience with person-centered thinking and planning.
  • Judgment and decision-making skills to handle crisis situations and daily occurrences.
  • Ability to interpret behavior trends.
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Experience balancing checkbooks and overseeing budgets.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking on an ongoing basis.
  • Sitting on an ongoing basis.
  • Reach and grip with hands frequently.
  • Use of motor skills for typing and utilizing computers frequently.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch on occasion.
  • Peripheral vision on an ongoing basis.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds periodically.

Environmental Factors:

  • Works with and through other staff members on an ongoing basis.
  • Has contact with the public.
  • Works in an office environment on an ongoing basis.

Salary: $25/hour
