Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Residential Program Director to lead our residential facilities in New York City. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing one or more of our residential facilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and overseeing all aspects of program operations including personnel, budgeting, and physical plant management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to develop and implement resident treatment plans
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide supervision and training to residence staff, promoting effective communication and teamwork
  • Conduct regular meetings with direct care staff to discuss program progress and address concerns
  • Interview, evaluate, and hire subordinate staff, as needed
  • Develop and maintain facility rules and procedures, ensuring smooth operation of daily routines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
  • At least five years of managerial experience, preferably in the developmentally disabled population
  • Valid New York State driver's license (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

$65,000 - $75,000 annually, plus industry-leading benefits package
