Day One seeks a seasoned Program Director to lead our Residential Youth Substance Use Treatment Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest level of care for our clients.

About the Role

The Program Director will serve as the operational leader for the residential program, providing guidance and support to staff and clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization that is dedicated to helping young people overcome substance use disorders.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can effectively manage the day-to-day activities of the program, including scheduling, medication management, and client care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, administration, and customer service, with a passion for working with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, client care, and medication management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide high-quality care to clients, including admissions, assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendors to ensure efficient program operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, making recommendations for program improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Masters degree in social work, counseling, or related field (required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, leadership, or a related field (required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams, developing policies and procedures, and managing budgets.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA, FERPA, and SAMHSA.
  • Ability to pass a background check, including FBI and State Bureau of Investigation clearance.
