We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Hotel Resource. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times
- Maintain a high level of service and hospitality
- Promptly and effectively deal with guest concerns or issues and ensure all are met to satisfaction in a timely manner
- Post guest charges, collect payments, and follow all cash handling procedures as required by Hotel Resource
- Handle guest mail and messages with respect to privacy and professionalism
- Be knowledgeable of the hotel brand and various programs (travel programs, special offers)
- Be a great communicator to various departments and management on guest comments and concerns
- Respond quickly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members needing front desk assistance
- Have full knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role
