Job Summary

MercyFirst is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Family Support Services department, you will play a critical role in supporting and stabilizing families involved with Child Welfare or in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide solution-based casework to families, focusing on goals to stabilize and support them.
  • Conduct home visits to assess the safety of children and provide counseling or referrals as needed.
  • Work with families to address issues related to intimate partner violence, mental health concerns, substance use, and school difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and community resources to provide comprehensive support to families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health.
  • 1+ years of experience working with children and/or families, preferably in a case management or social work role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
