Job Summary:

QSAC is seeking a highly skilled Evaluator Specialist to join our team. As an Evaluator Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations for children aged 2.7-5 years old, coordinating meetings with families, and developing comprehensive evaluation reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement psychological evaluations for children aged 2.7-5 years old, including intellectual and adaptive functioning assessments.
  • Coordinate meetings with families in their homes, communities, or mutually agreed-upon locations to provide assessment of the child.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports, including SMART goals, to inform the development of children's Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain participant and family confidentiality.
  • Commit to QSAC's values and adhere to company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Annual Professional Liability Insurance with $1M per occurrence / $3M annual aggregate coverage.
  • Annual Mandated Reporter workshop completion.
  • Masters-level NY State Certified School Psychologist certification.
  • Significant experience implementing psychological evaluations for children aged 2.7-5 years old to determine eligibility for preschool special education services.
  • Clearance through state-mandated background and fingerprint checks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
  • Knowledge of assessment and treatment of toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional efficiency and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write detailed reports.
