Overview

Pilot Freight Services is in search of a dedicated Operations Support Supervisor to enhance our logistics operations. This role is essential in managing our operations effectively and ensuring a seamless flow of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial transactions including billing, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory in company-managed facilities.
  • Supervise the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of Independent Owner/Operators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Address and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and customer claims.
  • Manage in-home delivery processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compile and maintain monthly operational reports detailing performance metrics and customer service feedback.
  • Directly supervise Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and hourly staff responsible for daily operations including material handling, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.

Supervisory Duties:

Execute supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements, including:

  • Conducting interviews, hiring, and training new employees.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing daily tasks.
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
  • Addressing employee concerns and resolving operational issues.
