The Service Operations Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Service Operations Department at one or more assigned locations. Requirements
  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
  • Completion of CarMax provided training in all areas of the Inventory, Cosmetic, and Production processes
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make independent judgments regarding critical business decisions
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Manager, retail management preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus
  • Intermediate computer skills
Working Conditions
  • May require walking or standing for an extended period of time
  • Combination of both indoor and outdoor environment, including working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions
  • Rotating schedule with shifts that will include nights, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour days
  • Occasional travel for meetings, training, and special assignments
  • Flexibility to work at multiple locations or relocate
