Job Description

Job Title: Retail Banker II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Banker II to join our team at TD Bank. As a Retail Banker II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships with our customers, and providing expert advice on banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the store, providing customers with expert advice on banking solutions and products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits.
  • Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities to deliver on our unexpectedly human promise.
  • Engage in conversations with customers about loan products, facilitate the application intake, and maintain an active registration status with NMLS.
  • Meet and exceed customer financial goals by sharing financial knowledge and providing real-time insights.
  • Act as a brand champion, both internally and externally, and promote the full suite of products, sales, services, and banking capabilities.
  • Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures, and ensure documentation is accurate and properly reflects client/business intentions.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment, and contribute to business objectives for Operational Excellence.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience required.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Cross-trained to take customer transactions.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to provide community services, including financial education classes.
  • Notary license preferred.
