Job OverviewThe Human Resources Generalist is a vital role at Mirion Technologies (Capintec), Inc. responsible for supporting the daily operations of the HR department. This position involves managing recruitment processes, employee relations, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, onboarding, and training and development for employees across all levels of the organization.

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Florham Park or Sommerset, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of dealing with employee issues in a professional manner, while building trust and rapport with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support leaders, managers, and employees on HR-related matters, including policies and procedures, employee wellbeing, organizational and employee development.
  • Provide HR support in areas such as performance management, benefit programs, hiring, absence management, and employee relations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of monthly headcount data.
  • Drive the onboarding process for new starters, including the induction program.
  • Assist in the recruitment process.
  • Active member of committees and special projects, including the Strategic Deployment Process, Lean, Health & Safety Committee, and Engagement Committee.
  • Partner with the global HR team to drive HR excellence.
  • Develop and implement people plans aligned with the HR strategy and site business needs.
  • Participate in HR-related projects, making recommendations as required.
  • Deliver the engagement strategy focusing on areas such as engagement surveys and internal communication.
  • Support change management processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or another related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an HR Generalist role in a manufacturing environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven track record of dealing with employee issues in a professional and non-threatening manner, building trust and rapport with the team.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • HR Compliance (EEOC, OFCCP, AAP, etc.).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
