As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding access to our retail store premises and surrounding perimeter. Your primary duties will include monitoring entry and exit points, restricted access areas, and staff entrance, as well as performing ID checks for initial entry into the store. You will work in compliance with Sanctuary Brookline and State of Massachusetts regulations, adhering to all policy and procedure, compliance standards, safety and security protocols, and professional conduct standards.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor all entry and exit points, restricted access areas, and staff entrance
* Perform ID checks for initial entry into the store
* Work in compliance with Sanctuary Brookline and State of Massachusetts regulations
* Adhere to all policy and procedure, compliance standards, safety and security protocols, and professional conduct standards
* Report to the Security Lead, Assistant Managers, and General Manager

Requirements:

* At least 21 years of age
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to identify potential problems, analyze issues, and propose solutions
* Knowledge of safety, health, and security protocols
* Ability to develop a solid working relationship with local law enforcement officials
