Role Purpose:
As the Client Services Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and manage all aspects of client services within a designated region. This includes ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and the delivery of a variety of services. You will play a key role in setting annual goals and objectives while maintaining profitability in alignment with regional targets. Additionally, you will supervise subcontractor project execution in accordance with regulatory requirements and review project estimates, proposals, and contracts for both existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and act on opportunities to enhance value-added services for clients.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, health and safety protocols, and operational procedures in line with departmental and regional policies.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor when addressing client inquiries and proposing solutions to challenges.
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
  • Implement required training programs mandated by OSHA and update refresher courses as necessary.
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure contract compliance and provide guidance as needed.
  • Foster a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Supervise local managers responsible for daily operations, efficiency enhancements, and staff development.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to guarantee exceptional client service.
Qualifications:

Education / Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in hazardous waste management is essential.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT, EPA, TSCA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of disposal site capabilities and limitations to ensure efficient handling of hazardous materials.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to present information effectively.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Competence in creating and preparing necessary reports.
Required Certifications / Licenses:
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.
