Career Details
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Support Coordinator to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. As an Alvis team member, you will work closely with clients and their families to provide individualized support and advocacy. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing behavioral support and guidance to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Collaborating with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client progress and support activities
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Possessing a valid Ohio driver's license and passing a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, special education)
• Professional licensure (e.g., LSW, LPC) preferred
• 40 hours of in-service and/or professional development training annually
