Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Classic Westchester is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our training initiatives. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Director of Apprentice Training and contribute to the development and implementation of training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with members, supervisors, peers, and employers/contractors.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as directed by the Director.
  • Support training Journeymen and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Assist with training and testing of the Alliance - Learning Management System.
  • Help members register for online courses and set up voice authentication.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Assist in testing and rollout of new versions of LMS and content.
  • Collaborate with other departments to train and assist with LMS tasks.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Take photos for New York City DOB ID SST cards.
  • Provide support to members for the New York City SST program.
  • Assist in processing and mailing of SST certification cards.
Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to Advance Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with virtual platforms for meetings, conferences, and training.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced professional office.
