Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Absher Construction Company. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of subcontractor, supplier, and vendor onboarding processes, including subcontractor prequalification, contract administration, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subcontractor Prequalification
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential subcontractors' capabilities, experience, and performance history.
    • Evaluate subcontractors' compliance with safety regulations, insurance coverage, and environmental standards.
  • Contract Administration
    • Oversee the administration of the subcontracting process, including contract compliance, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Coordinate with project managers and partners to resolve contract-related issues and disputes promptly.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and evaluate financial risks associated with subcontractor relationships.
    • Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks through effective prequalification criteria and contractual terms.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate records of subcontractor prequalification documentation, including licenses, certifications, and insurance policies.
    • Ensure subcontractors comply with all federal, state, legal, financial, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in subcontractor management, prequalification, financial analysis, or procurement within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial ratios.
