About the role:
At Google, we believe that a problem is not truly resolved until it is addressed for everyone. Our mission is to develop products that create opportunities for individuals, whether they are in the local community or across the globe.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will utilize your technical knowledge to guide intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to outline requirements, identify risks, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

You will be equally adept at articulating your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are at discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Our objective is to create a Google that reflects the diversity of the world around us, and we strive to ensure that Googlers feel valued and have opportunities for growth when they join us.

As part of our commitment to fostering a Google for everyone, we integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work, aiming to cultivate a sense of belonging across the company.

In this role, you will lead diverse engineering projects using your engineering expertise, plan requirements with internal stakeholders, and support projects throughout their entire lifecycle.

You will manage projects of varying sizes and scopes, identify future opportunities, enhance processes, and steer the technical direction of programs.

In Google Search, we are redefining the way information is searched for – anytime and anywhere. To achieve this, we must tackle complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure while ensuring a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world depend on.

By joining the Search team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on billions of individuals globally.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work challenges and program objectives, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.

Prioritize program objectives, comprehend and translate the needs of other stakeholders into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions regarding prioritizing goals and deliverables.

Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.

Review key metrics related to a program, monitor potential deviations from metrics, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.

Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders across one or more teams to drive impact and work towards shared goals.
