Position Overview:
The Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Lending Technology team is tasked with the development and execution of a forward-thinking technology strategy to enhance various lending business operations.
- We are in search of an innovative and skilled frontend engineer who possesses a keen eye for quality and detail, contributing to the creation of a contemporary lending platform that integrates and modernizes several internal systems, optimizes business processes, and unlocks new business potentials.
- The selected candidate will collaborate with a global team based in multiple locations.
- This platform is a web-based application that interacts with diverse backend microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver high-quality features that enhance the ISG Lending platform.
- Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
- Achieve results with a comprehensive understanding of the platform's responsibilities, frontend user experience, backend services, databases, and other system components.
- Engage with business stakeholders to streamline the work intake process for the development team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in developing web-based applications, specifically with Angular 12+, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience in integrating web applications with RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS Code.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in client interactions.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of OOP Java 8+ or .NET development of RESTful microservices is advantageous.
- Understanding of Relational Databases and SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with WinForms is beneficial.
