Purpose of the Role: This position is dedicated to overseeing marketing initiatives for two hotel properties. The primary focus is to formulate, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance customer acquisition and retention. Responsibilities include conducting market research to evaluate the effectiveness of current offerings and collaborating with media outlets and advertising firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deep understanding of both traditional and modern marketing channels.
  2. Develop and implement a media communication strategy.
  3. In case of incidents: Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Sales to engage with media.
  4. Ability to innovate and think outside the box.
  5. Proficient in budget management and financial oversight.
  6. Exhibit professional judgment and discretion.
  7. Utilize analytical skills to predict and identify market trends and challenges.
  8. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in graphic design, web design, and production.
  9. Hands-on experience in creating multimedia presentations, signage, and promotional materials.
  10. Coordinate and engage in target market trade shows and promotional events.
  11. Foster strong relationships with local community groups and businesses.
  12. Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  1. Proficient in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets, with familiarity in brand-specific property management systems.
  2. Demonstrated ability in presentation, organization, time management, and active listening.
  3. Analytical skills for assessing business potential and value to the hotel.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  5. Professional representation of the hotel to media outlets.
  6. Strong proficiency in MAC/Apple computers, iOS operating systems, and photo editing software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related discipline (an associate degree may be considered).

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of marketing experience within the hotel industry or a comparable level of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
